To begin making the baked methi masala puri, mix the whole wheat flour, dried fenugreek leaves, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, nigella seeds, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
Add the ghee to the flour mixture and rub it with your fingertips to form a crumbly texture.
Taste and adjust the salt levels as per your preference. for added spice, you can optionally include crushed black pepper or additional chilli powder.
Gradually add water, a little at a time, and knead the ingredients into a firm and smooth dough. the dough should be slightly firmer than the regular roti dough.
Preheat the oven to 180Êû≥c.
