To prepare the almond sutarfeni kheer, gather all the required ingredients and keep them ready.
In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a gentle boil over medium heat.
Reduce the heat and let the milk simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, until it thickens slightly.
Once the milk has thickened, add the sugar and almond powder to the pan. continue simmering for a couple of minutes.
The almond powder will contribute to the thickening of the kheer.
