To begin making dual layered bread delight, dissolve 3/4 teaspoon of active dry yeast in 1/4 cup of warm water. let it sit for 5 minutes to activate.
Add the remaining 3/4 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, room temperature butter, and 1 cup of refined wheat flour. stir to combine.
In a stand mixer with a dough hook on low speed, gradually add the remaining 1 cup of refined wheat flour until the dough is soft and tacky but not sticky.
Continue to knead until the dough forms a soft ball and clears the sides of the bowl, which should take about 7 to 10 minutes.
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, turning it over to ensure it's completely coated. cover it with plastic wrap or a lid and let it rise in a dry place until it doubles in size, which takes about 2 hours.
