To make spicy peanut sundal, start by soaking the peanuts in water for about 3 to 4 hours or overnight. then drain the water completely.
In a pressure cooker, add the soaked peanuts and 1 cup of fresh water. pressure cook the peanuts for 2 to 3 whistles or until they are soft but not mushy.
Once cooked, drain any excess water and set the boiled peanuts aside.
In a pan, heat sesame oil (gingelly oil) over medium heat. add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add urad dal and saut„© until it turns golden brown.
