To prepare the cumin flavored urad dal rotti, start by soaking the urad dal in water for at least 4 hours.
After soaking, grind the urad dal with water in a grinder to form a thick batter.
Mix the ground urad dal batter with rice rava, cumin seeds, and salt. adjust the consistency to achieve a thick dosa-like batter.
Heat a flat-bottomed pan and add about 4 tablespoons of sunflower oil. allow the oil to become very hot.
Carefully pour all the batter onto the hot pan.
