To prepare turmeric and carom seed puri, start by mixing whole wheat flour, carom seeds (ajwain), turmeric powder, and salt in a bowl.
Gradually add enough water to the mixture to form a stiff dough.
Towards the end, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil to the dough and knead it until the oil is well incorporated.
Divide the dough into equal-sized small balls.
Roll each ball into a flat disc on a clean surface using a rolling pin. keep the thickness of the disc moderate; it shouldn't be too thin.
