How To Cook?

1

To prepare the spiced whole wheat murukku, take a cotton cloth and place the whole wheat flour (chakki atta) in it. bring the opposite ends of the cloth together and tie them securely. repeat the same with the other two opposite ends, ensuring that the flour is completely enclosed by the cloth.

2

Place the cloth-covered flour in a bowl and steam it in a steamer for about 15 to 20 minutes, making sure the cloth doesn't touch the water.

3

After steaming, remove the cloth from the steamer, open the ends, and let it cool for a few minutes until you can handle the flour.

4

Break the flour into finer particles and sift it to remove any lumps.

5

To the sifted flour, add red chili powder, sugar, sesame seeds, carom seeds (ajwain), and hot melted ghee.
