To start preparing the exotic fruit delight payasam, soak almonds and cashews for 4 to 5 hours, then grind them to a smooth paste using a mixer grinder.
In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil.
Once the milk starts boiling, add the almond and cashew paste, mixing everything thoroughly.
Cook the mixture over low flame until it reduces to about 3/4th of its original quantity.
Stir continuously to prevent the milk from burning.
