Line a square dish with parchment paper and set it aside.
In a large bowl, combine the puffed rice cereal, almonds, and dried cranberries. toss them together gently and set aside.
In a pan, heat the brown rice syrup, honey, and vanilla extract. stir continuously until the ingredients are well blended. be careful not to overheat.
Immediately pour the syrup mixture over the almond-cranberry mixture and toss well until everything is fully coated. work quickly to prevent the mixture from hardening.
Transfer the coated almond-cranberry mixture into the prepared square dish and press it down evenly. refrigerate for a couple of hours to allow the bars to firm up.
