How To Cook?

Wash and soak the moong dal for 4 to 5 hours or overnight. grind the soaked moong dal with a little water until smooth. transfer the ground moong dal to a large bowl.

Wash and grate the carrots and ginger. finely chop the coriander leaves and curry leaves. set them aside. grate or scrape the coconut. crush or powder the pepper pods and keep them ready.

Add the millet flour to the ground moong dal in the bowl. mix well until combined. add salt, grated carrots, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger, and crushed pepper pods. mix everything together to form a dosa-consistency batter.

Heat a pan or tava and sprinkle some oil on it. once hot, take a spoonful of the moong dal and millet dough and spread it in a circular shape like a dosa.

Cook for a minute and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of oil on the top. flip the dosa to the other side and cook for an additional 10 to 15 seconds.
